At Ajman American private School, Common core standards have been selected as the educational standards to be used from Kindergarten to grade 12 for English and Mathematics. For Science, we have chosen the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These standards allow flexibility in classroom activity and learning experiences. The Ministry of Education’s prescribed curriculum for Arabic, Islamic Education, Moral Education and Social Studies will be followed.

With the integration of all the above standards, the School hopes to stimulate students’ interests and capabilities that will prepare them for achievement in college, careers and citizenship.

Instructional objectives are clearly defined in all subject areas, but academic expectations are flexible enough to both support and challenge each individual learner. The motto of the school is “Dare to Dream” which will be the clear approach to curriculum, teaching and learning, and will define the learning experience for all students.

Through the provision of highly-distinguished and world-class education delivering outstanding outcomes and experiences for all students, Ajman American Private School prepares students to meet the challenges of a global society.

Beyond academics, the school management strives to instill in all students a culture of compassion , a positive attitude toward lifelong learning, an appreciation for cultural diversity, with mastery of multiple literacies and fluencies to support genuine personal growth to face the future.
